A total of 6,800 readers of the German outdoor magazine (what’s the name of the mag), which belongs to the Motor Presse Stuttgart, elected who they thought were the best brands in nine categories. By a huge margin, the Swedish outdoor equipment supplier PRIMUS was ranked top in the ‘Stoves’ category.
“Pleasure and outdoor belongs for many of our readers together and that means also a good meal. For that you just need a reliable stove,” commented the magazine’s outdoor equipment testers Frank Wacker and Boris Gnielka.
This year, PRIMUS celebrates being 125 years old and has already received several awards and titles, the latest one during the international trade show OutDoor in Frierichshafen/Germany. The award honours the most innovative products in functionality, design, price-performance ratio and weight/pack size. Out of the 330 products entered, 38 products received one of the coveted OutDoor Industry Awards. Nine of these winning products are then singled out and receive the Gold Award accreditation for setting new standards in their respective sectors.
In the category “Camping” PRIMUS won the award for the PrimeTech Stove Set 1,3 l. According to the jury:
“We were convinced by this lightweight, performance stove set. In particular, the integrated heat exchanger is very effective and fuel-efficient, and also makes the stove set much lighter than conventional designs.”
Furthermore, the PrimeTech Stove Set 1.3 l won an ISPO Award this year, a SOG award and the Editors` Choice Award from the German Outdoor Magazine.
